Awards Banquet
The CHASM Awards Banquet this year will be a formal event at the American Legion in La Plata on the evening of Saturday, October 17th from 6pm-11pm. Tickets are $15 each and include dinner, music, a chance at door prizes, and the awards ceremony. Contact team managers for tickets.

Player of the Week

Week 1
Congratulations to Simon Klink of St. Mary's. Simon went 4 for 5 with a 2B, 2-HR, 4 runs scored and 8 RBI.

Week 2
Congratulations to Carlos Cruz of the Bayhawks. Carlos earned the win pitching a 9-inning complete game, walking none, allowing only three hits and striking out 16.

Week 3
Congratulations to Charlie Wright of Bumpy Oak. Charlie went 1 for 2 with a double, RBI, walk, Sac Bunt and turned 3 double plays at SS in a complete effort resulting in a 2-1 victory.

Week 4
Congratulations to Ben Sobocinski of Bumpy Oak. Ben went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored, a home run, and 3RBI

Week 5
Congratulations to Johnny Klopfer of Western Charles. Over the 2 game weekend Johnny went 6 for 9, with 3 runs scored, 4 RBI, 2 home runs, and a stolen base.

Week 6
Congratulations to Greg Conden of the Door. Greg threw a complete game shutout to earn the victory, striking out 7, allowing only 1 hit and facing the minimum number of batters for the game.

Week 7
Congratulations to Justin Armiger of the Cubs. Justin went 4 for 5 with 2 homers, 7 RBI and 2 runs scored.

Week 8
Congratulations to Jason Murray of Western Charles. Jason went 6-7 with 6 runs scored, a double, 3 home runs, 8 RBI and a stolen base.

Week 9
Congratulations to Greg Conden of the St. Mary's. Greg threw 11 2/3 scoreless innings with 11 strikeouts, earning the win in Game 1 and a save in Game 2. He even tacked on an RBI in his only at bat.

Week 10
Congratulations to Zach O'dell of the Cubs. Zach threw a complete game shutout, striking out 5 and walking none on the way to a 1-0 victory.

Week 11
Congratulations to Carlos Cruz of the Bayhawks. Carlos went 2 for 4 with 5RBI and a game winning grand slam in the last inning on Saturday. On Sunday he earned the victory on the mound allowing 0 runs in 5 innings with 6 strikeouts.

Week 12
Congratulations to Evan Hart of Western Charles. Evan pitched a complete game shutout with 11 strikeouts and walks. He also went 1 for 1 at the plate.

Week 13
Congratulations to Matt Tonkavitch of the Storm. Matt went 8 for 11 with 2 doubles, a triple, 3 runs scored, and 3 RBI.

Week 14
Congratulations to Simon Klink of the Door. Simon went 8 for 10 (6 for 6 in game one), with 3 runs scored, a double, 2 home runs, and 7 RBI.

Week 15
Congratulations to Tyler Simms of the Black Sox. Tyler was 3 for 5, with 3 doubles, 3 runs scored, and 2 RBI.

Week 16
Congratulations to Johnny Klopfer of Western Charles. Johnny went 4 for 7 with 3 runs scored, a double, a home run, and 4 RBI.

Week 17
Congratulations to Billy Hennessy of the Black Sox. Billy went 3 for 4 with 2 runs scored, 3 RBI,  a stolen base, and a walk.
