Posted_By: Rob MessageIt is with great sadness to pass along the news that another league icon has passed away, Bill 'Doc' Close. He was one of the greatest players to grace our league, a tremendous coach and professor at the Charles County Community College and author of 'A Sandlot Sandlot,' his 1986 comprehensive book about the Charles-St. Mary's League. Please keep this great man and his family in your prayers. Posted_By: Bill D.
