Both 18+ teams didn't make the playoffs, the 25+ team lost in the first round of the playoffs, the 35+ team lost in the semi's, the 45+ team got blown out in the championship game, and the 52+ team lost in the first round of the playoffs. Check the MSBL National site.

IN MLB 4 homeruns in one game is not an uncommon occurrence but when was the last time you saw a guy throw 11 strong with 14 K's. Plus SMASHING a 2 run homerun in the 1st...Sweeney may have thrown 11 also but the guy throws 60 MPH Anthony Gibbons was popping 89 in the 11th after 187 pitches...... AG for Player of the week....

Good he deserves it...and while I'm at it, congrates to the Washington Printers who won their third straight Union Printers Tournament down in Fort Myers. Tony Sweeny threw 3 consecutive complete games to pick up 3 wins. The rubber-armed redneck threw 28 innings in 3 days...gave up 2 earned runs. Unbelievable.

Josh, it is too late for this year as the second half rosters have been set. You can certainly jump in next year. Just monitor the web site as teams have tryouts, and the numbers of myself and the president, Dave Cross are on the site also. Come to some games (especially the playoffs in September) to get a feel for the league. Thanks for your interest.

I guarantee you that bumpy won't win this year. Yeah they might get some good pitching, but whoever they get will not be as effective the way Billy, and John were. I watched those guys and they were more than pitchers, they really know the game, and watch a couple of times last year when bumpy didn't hit the ball, one game against Legion when that Downs kid pitch and against that Condon dude.

With Billy going pro and the retirement of Rich, Bobby and Scott Bumpy is now several million below the salary cap and can easily sign a couple of free agent pitchers or draft a couple of good young ones.
